At Art Of Training, our coaching team is built on experience, real-world results and a passion for helping people improve. Many of our coaches started as students and grew into leaders, bringing a deep understanding of our programs and culture. They combine structured training with supportive, engaging coaching so members of all levels can progress and enjoy the journey.

Co Founder
Craig Harvey
Craig co-founded Art Of Training alongside Toni with the goal of building more than just a gym — he wanted to create a place where people could improve their fitness, learn real martial arts, and be part of a strong community. With over 15 years of experience Muay Thai and Strength & Conditioning, Craig is passionate about helping people develop confidence, discipline and consistency through training. Whether someone is stepping onto the mats for the first time or chasing higher performance, his focus is always the same: structured coaching, steady progress, and creating an environment where people enjoy showing up and putting in the work. As a father of three, he understands the balance between family, work and training, and believes the gym should be a place that supports people in becoming better in all areas of life.

Toni Lane
Toni co-founded Art Of Training alongside Craig and heads the gym’s Strength & Conditioning and personal training programs. As a competitive weightlifter who has set multiple world records, she brings a high level of knowledge & experience to her coaching. Toni is passionate about helping people get stronger, move better, and build confidence through structured training. Whether someone is new to the gym or chasing serious performance goals, she’s focused on helping them progress and achieve results they’re proud of. As a mother of four, Toni understands the demands of busy family life and is passionate about helping people build strength, confidence and long-term habits through structured training that fits into real life.

Head BJJ Coach
Johnathan Obrien
Johnathan and his wife Lynn live in Bacchus Marsh and have 2 children, twins Chelsea and Emmett. Johnathan completed his PHD in 2019 in Molecular Biology and now serves as an Officer in the Royal Australian Infantry Corps.
Outside of work, Johnathan's been dedicated to football his whole life, still playing for Melton Bloods. His passion for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu began in 2013; training with a variety of gyms and coaches and being promoted to Black Belt in 2023.

Muay Thai Coach / Pro Fighter
Jack Allen
With over 22 Muay Thai fights under his belt, and an already impressive resume, including, "Muay Thai Victoria Male Fighter of the year", Silver Medalist at the Muay Thai Nationals and a member of Team Victoria in the Vic vs NSW tournament, just to name a few.
Having now turned Professional, Jack is making his mark in the 67kg division, currently unbeaten.
As a coach, Jack has not only great knowledge and experience, but an incredible attention to detail, and passion for Muay Thai teaching the younger generation.

BJJ Coach
Liam Urwin
Liam is a highly accomplished Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitor and coach, known for both his technical ability and competitive success. He is a multiple-time Australian national champion and an ADCC Trials bronze medalist, placing third at the Asia-Oceania trials — one of the toughest grappling qualification events in the world.
Liam now trains out of Absolute MMA under Lachlan Giles, widely regarded as one of Australia’s most decorated grapplers and coaches. Training in that environment keeps Liam closely connected to the highest level of modern jiu-jitsu and grappling.
Liam works with both our junior & adult team with a coaching style that is highly technical, building well-rounded Jiu Jitsu students & competitors.

S&C Coach / Personal Trainer
Joe Ciafa
Joe brings a wealth of knowledge and attention to detail to our Strength & Conditioning and personal training programs. He focuses on helping members make real progress through structured coaching and consistent effort, always tailoring training to suit individual goals.
Known for his approachable style, Joe keeps sessions engaging with a mix of dad jokes and the occasional Disney soundtrack reference. While training is serious in its purpose, he believes it should also be enjoyable and motivating.
Above all, Joe cares about member progress. He takes pride in helping people build strength, improve fitness, and develop habits that support long-term results.

S&C Coach / Personal Trainer
Bree-Ann Huntley
Bree has been coaching with Art Of Training for the past eight years, growing from an intern to a core member of our coaching team. Her journey includes an internship at Woodford SSC and experience coaching in the United Kingdom, giving her a broad understanding of training environments and athlete development.
With qualifications in CrossFit Level 1 and ASCA Strength & Conditioning, Bree brings technical knowledge and structured coaching to her sessions. She is known for her attention to detail and supportive approach, helping members of all levels progress toward their goals.
Whether coaching Strength & Conditioning or supporting members on their fitness journey, Bree focuses on building confidence, improving movement, and creating a positive training environment where progress is the priority.

BJJ Coach
Jordan Erceg
Jordan is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt who has competed at a high level across Australia and internationally. One of his standout achievements includes winning silver at the IBJJF World Masters.
Now a father of two, Jordan has taken a step back from the competition scene and put more of his focus into coaching and helping others develop their jiu-jitsu. Known for his thoughtful and analytical approach, he brings an intellectual and philosophical style to his coaching while keeping the training environment fun and positive. On the mats, Jordan has a particular love for back-takes, berimbolos and leg locks, and enjoys helping students explore the technical depth of the sport.

Muay Thai Coach
Jenna Bryan
Jenna is a former professional Muay Thai fighter who finished her career with an unbeaten record. Her experience in the ring gives her a deep understanding of the sport and a strong technical foundation that she brings into every class she coaches.
Jenna is passionate about sharing Muay Thai and helping students build confidence through training. She plays a key role in coaching our junior athletes, where she creates an environment that balances hard work, skill development and fun.
She also leads our Women’s Muay Thai program, helping women learn real striking skills, and building confidence, fitness, and a supportive training community for Women.

Jared Wilson
Jared is one of the most positive and approachable coaches you will meet. As a Strength & Conditioning and Personal Training coach, he brings energy and encouragement to every session while focusing on structured, results-driven training.
An accomplished athlete in his own right, Jared practices what he preaches and trains consistently, demonstrating the habits and discipline he encourages in others. His coaching style is relaxed and supportive, creating an environment where clients feel comfortable pushing themselves and making steady progress.
Whether you’re new to training or looking to improve performance, Jared’s focus is on helping people build strength, confidence, and sustainable fitness habits in a fun and welcoming environment.

Lauren Tudball
Loz is one of our homegrown coaches, starting her journey as a Year 1 member at Art Of Training and developing her passion for training through our Strength & Conditioning program (formerly CrossFit). Her love for learning new skills and refining technique has shaped her coaching style, with a strong focus on attention to detail and structured progression.
As an occupational therapist, Loz brings a thoughtful and analytical approach to coaching, helping members move better and build strength in a way that supports long-term health and performance. She enjoys challenging herself as much as she challenges her athletes — from strength training to running a half marathon and continually expanding her own skill set.
Loz’s classes are well planned, and full of energy. Her bubbly personality and commitment to member progress create a welcoming environment where people feel supported while being encouraged to grow and improve.

Cooper Dungey
Cooper is leading our Adult Muay Thai program and has been training for nine years with a strong passion for coaching and sharing his knowledge. Growing up around the sport and originally training out of Sunrise Muay Thai in Adelaide, he was inspired by watching his older brother compete and developed a deep appreciation for the culture and discipline of Muay Thai.
Cooper believes Muay Thai is more than just training — it’s a way of life. He encourages students to immerse themselves in the sport, watch fights, learn the traditions, and even travel to Thailand to experience training at its source. His coaching blends respect for the culture with modern technical instruction, helping students develop skill and confidence.
A big personality on the mats, Cooper brings energy and enthusiasm to every class while still prioritising hard work and progression. His sessions balance fun with focused training, creating an environment where members are challenged, supported, and motivated to improve.

Brayden Wilkinson
Brayden began his journey at Art Of Training as a student over 10 years ago and has grown into one of our home-grown coaches and competitors. With deep roots in the gym and years of training experience, he stepped into amateur competition in 2025, continuing to develop his skills as both an athlete and coach.
Brayden primarily coaches our junior program, where he brings energy, humour and a focus on making training enjoyable and engaging for kids. His sessions balance skill development with fun, helping young athletes build confidence and a love for training in a supportive environment.

Muay Thai Coach
Josh Wallace
Josh began his journey at Art Of Training as one of our first junior students many years ago and has grown into one of our home-grown coaches and competitors. With a lifetime of training experience and a strong passion for learning, he now balances coaching with his studies in Exercise Science, continually expanding his knowledge of performance and human movement.
Josh is known for his friendly and approachable personality — a big, positive presence on the mats and in the gym. He’s famously tough to spar, but always keeps things light with a smile and good energy. His coaching reflects the same balance: challenging members to improve while creating an environment that is supportive and enjoyable.
Whether coaching juniors, adults, or competitors, Josh brings deep experience and a genuine desire to help people grow in their training and confidence.
